A Subclass of Analytic Functions Associated with Hypergeometric Functions
In the present paper, we have established sufficient conditions for Gaus-sian hypergeometric functions to be in certain subclass of analytic univalent functions in the unit disc $mathcal{U}$. Furthermore, we investigate several mapping properties of Hohlov linear operator for this subclass and also examined an integral operator acting on hypergeometric functions.
متن کاملExecutive Functions in Depression: a Clinical Report
Fifty patients of depression and thirty normal subjects were assessed using clinical rating scales and also for the executive functions by Wisconsin Card Sorting Test (WCST). The depressed subjects demonstrated poor performance on WCST suggesting cognitive inflexibility and prefrontal dysfunction. More severe illness was associated with greater impairment in the executive functioning. This patt...
متن کاملBrain potentials index executive functions during random number generation.
The generation of random sequences is considered to tax different executive functions. To explore the involvement of these functions further, brain potentials were recorded in 16 healthy young adults while either engaging in random number generation (RNG) by pressing the number keys on a computer keyboard in a random sequence or in ordered number generation (ONG) necessitating key presses in th...
متن کاملExecutive Functions and Academic Achievement in a High-Poverty Sample
Research exploring cognitive theories of executive function (EF) report positive associations with academic outcomes, but whether such general cognitive theories generalise to when children are exposed to social or economic poverty contexts require more in-depth investigating. This study explores associations between EF and academic achievement for an ethnic minority sample aged 8–10 years, fro...
